Born on April 20, 1964, Bishop Dr. Richard Owusu Akyeaw is an alumnus of Kumasi Anglican and lema Secondary Schools, Agape Bible College, and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration GIMPA). He furthered his education at Pinecrest Bible College in New York, USA, and Shepherd Christian University in Nigeria, where he earned a Doctorate in Christian Education and was ordained as a Bishop.

Bishop Dr. Richard Owusu Akyeaw is the Founder and General Overseer of Living Grace Ministries International and the Executive Director of the Christian Leadership Institute, which aims to educate and train Christian leaders and pastors nationwide. He serves as the Regional Chairman of the National Association of Christian and Charismatic Churches (NACCC) for the Bono Chapter. He is also an executive member of the Ghana Peace Council, a professional arbitrator, a certified HR practitioner, a management consultant, a certified organizational development and leadership practitioner, a motivational speaker, and a preacher of the Gospel with over three decades of active ministry.

His extensive ministry work has taken him to numerous countries including Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Norway, Malaysia, and the United States, where he preaches, builds, and provides apostolic covering for many ministries worldwide. His philosophy, "Bringing Purpose, Confidence, and Direction to Our Generation," underscores his mission.
Bishop Dr. Richard Owusu Akyeaw is married to Mrs. Grace Owusu Akyeaw, and they are blessed with four children.
