LET US RISE UP AND PRAY ( PRAYING TO A FRIEND)

THURSDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 226 ( 07/25/2024).
Hello family and friends, Jesus Christ taught all His followers to maintain three relationships and attitudes when we pray. The first was discussed last week Thursday ( Praying to the Father).

We are looking at the second today which is: MAINTAINING THE ATTITUDE OF TALKING TO A FRIEND WHEN WE PRAY:-Luke 11:5-8;” And He said unto them, which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and have nothing to set before him? And he from within shall answer and say, trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee…yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.”

When you have the attitude of speaking to a friend in prayer, you can ask God for so many things including the following:
1. Your embarrassing things.
2. Your distressing and humiliating things.
3. Your financial needs
4. Your marital and relationship needs
5. Your Social needs
6. Your Spiritual needs
7. Your intimate and secret needs ; friends always share secrets.

Beloved Christians, to a friend nothing is too trivial or insignificant. Let us go to the Lord in prayer with the attitude of a friend’s mindset! Let’s bless our hearts with this beautiful attached clip- NO GREATER, by Cece Winans
