THURSDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 222 ( 06/27/2024).
Hello family and friends, some things we experience as we confess our sins include:
1. IT CAUSES THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO RETURN TO US-
Psalm 51:10-12;” Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not the Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”
King David sinned greatly against the Lord. He knew he was going to lose the presence of the Holy Spirit. He became remorseful, and said the above prayer. Sin causes separation from the presence of the Holy Spirit. When we confess and forsake our sins, we open ourselves up to the presence of the holy spirit.
2. IT LEADS TO PROSPERITY- Proverbs 28:13;” He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso CONFESSETH and FORSAKETH them shall have mercy.”
Prosperity does not only come through hard work.
Many hard working and talented men have lost their hard earned money through gambling, fornication, drugs,
adultery, alcoholism etc; their sins robbed them of their prosperity.
Beloved Christians, it is important that we confess and forsake our sins to enable the prosperity that are due us to flow and flourish in our lives!
