MONDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 116 ( 06/24/24).
Hello family and friends, the Fourth Principle of the New Creation Subject is that, AFTER YOU ARE BORN AGAIN, YOUR SPIRIT IS A NEW BORN BABY AND IT MUST GROW:- 1 Peter 2:2; “ As newborn babes, desire the sincere word of the word, THAT YE MAY GROW thereby:”
Being born again is like being in the world. You must go through three important stages of development. Every Christian also goes through these three stages whether he knows it or not; the baby stage, the childhood stage and the mature adult stage.
1. THE SPIRITUAL BABY
All babies cry a lot. Some characteristics of spiritual babies include:
- They are easily offended; little things offend them.
- Like little children who urinate on themselves anytime, spiritual babies are unable to help themselves. They are unable to control their spiritual appetites and continue to live in sin.
2. THE CHILDHOOD STAGE
A child is unsteady and unstable. It is difficult to hold the attention of a child for more than a few minutes. Anyone who moves from church to church every few months can be classified as an immature child.
3. SPIRITUAL ADULTHOOD
A mature Christian exhibits the following characteristics
- He loves the meat of the word of God, and understands the deep things of the word.
- He is also skillful in the word of God; in that, he is able to teach and preach.
