THURSDAY’S INSPIRATION – PART 144 (06/19/2025)
Hello family and friends,
In the Christian life, a test is a God-permitted challenge that reveals the depth of our trust and obedience. A person of faith should, in the midst of trials, count it all joy; knowing that trials refine our walk with God.
Abraham faced two major tests:
* His Calling – Genesis 12:1
God told Abraham to leave his country, family, and comfort zone for an unknown land. Abraham obeyed, though he took Lot along (Gen. 12:4).
* Sacrificing Isaac – Genesis 22:2–3
Abraham obeyed fully when asked to sacrifice his son. God later blessed him in all things (Gen. 24:1).
Galatians 3:9 says: "So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham."
To enjoy Abraham’s blessing, we must also walk in full obedience—especially during tests.
Passing your test is proof of faith. It is how God promotes, approves, and entrusts more to you.
How do we know we've passed our test?
When we obey God fully, even when it's hard, and keep trusting Him—peace follows, purpose becomes clearer, and His favor rests on us.
Blessings
