TUESDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 124 -( 08/27/2024)
Hello family and friends, here are some things that happen to us when we die:
1. We Will Remember Everything That Happened On Earth:- Luke 16:25;” But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted.”
When we die, we will remember the opportunities that we had, the messages we heard, our sins ( including our secret sins), and the altar calls we did not respond to. We would wish we had lived our lives with the reality of Heaven and Hell always in our hearts, if we don’t make it to Heaven!
2. We Will Discover That There Is A Big Gap Between Heaven And Hell:- Luke 16:26;” And beside all this between us and you, there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us that would come from thence.”
People who live in African world are used to things being done through “ Connections.” Simply put, “ whom you know”transactions. The reality of Heaven and Hell will be a great shock to this African way of doing things. People will not be transferred from Hell to Heaven weekly through the “ whom you know “ transactions.
Our Salvation will only be based on our accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and staying in The Will of God till the end of our lives, and not our great “ connections.”
