ECCLESIASTES 9:11

THURSDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 230 ( 08/21/2024).

Hello family and friends, “ I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”

This scripture teaches us several lessons which include:
1. That speed, strength, wisdom, understanding and skills usually determine the outcome of anything.

2. That common determinants of life can be set aside, because time and chance can neutralize the effects of the determinants.

3. That God can intervene and cause us to have more than we deserve.

4. That powerful CURSES can change the outcome of what we expect.
These are very true, because there are many people who work so hard but are still poor. There are many excellent singers who have amounted to nothing. And also, there are many talented and excellent footballers who do not have teams, and some who never got to their peak.

Finally, speed we know often determines the winner of a race. However, TIME and CHANCE once set aside all the known determinants of a race, when the slowest and poorest swimmer in an Olympic Games won a gold medal; for all the other swimmers were disqualified for false starts leaving him alone to win the gold.

Beloved Christians, let us rise and pray as with God on our side, Time and Chance can change the course of our endeavors in a twinkle of an eye ! Be inspired with this beautiful attached clip
