Hello family and friends, our key scripture is Colossians 1:23;” If you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and BE NOT MOVED AWAY FROM THE HOPE OF THE GOSPEL, which ye heard, which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul was made a minister.”
Unlike Paul, many Christians are moved away from their original beliefs. They start out in a certain way but are moved from their original faith. That is why Paul was happy to announce three important things at the end of his life; ‘ I have kept the faith! I have finished my course! I have run my race!’
Apostle Paul experienced a lot of pressure, problems and afflictions during his preaching life. Even when his life was threatened, he said, “ But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the grace of God.(Acts 20:24).
An issue that influences our movements is OFFENSES AND AFFLICTIONS .
1 Thessalonians 3:3; “ That no man should be moved by THESE AFFLICTIONS: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto…….”
Beloved Christians, there are many troubles, offenses, and afflictions we must expect. Sacrificing, losing and dying are all part of the Christian lifestyle.
