THURSDAY’S INSPIRATION – PART 150( 07/31/2025)
Hello Family and Friends,
WHAT DOES GROWTH IN FAITH MEAN?
Growth in faith means your trust in God becomes deeper, stronger, and more consistent over time. It’s not a one-time belief—it’s a journey of learning to depend more fully on God in every area of life, especially through challenges.
When faith grows:
• You lean more on God’s Word than your feelings.
• You obey even when it's hard.
• You stand firm in trials without giving up.
• You begin to trust God for things that once seemed impossible.
HERE ARE FIVE PRACTICAL WAYS TO GROW YOUR FAITH:
1. CONSISTENT TIME IN GOD’S WORD
Read, listen to, and reflect on Scripture daily. Let God's Word shape your thoughts, even during everyday tasks like cooking or walking.
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
— Romans 10:17
2. PRACTICE OBEDIENCE IN SMALL STEPS
Faith grows through action. Start by obeying God in small things—love, forgive, serve.
"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much."
— Luke 16:10
3. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH FAITH-BUILDERS
Stay close to people who strengthen and encourage your faith.
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together… but exhorting one another."
— Hebrews 10:25
4. LET GO OF DISTRACTIONS AND COMMIT TO GROWTH
Release past mistakes, habits, and anything that keeps you from focusing on God.
"Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before..."
— Philippians 3:13-14
5. REMEMBER GOD’S FAITHFULNESS
Reflect on how God has helped you in the past—it fuels confidence for what lies ahead.
"This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope."
— Lamentations 3:21
FINAL WORD
Brethren, let us not settle for stagnant faith; let our faith grow, deepen, and overflow!
Faith is for our everyday living. It is the fuel that pleases God and the anchor that holds us steady in every season!
Blessings
