THURSDAY’S INSPIRATION – PART 148 (07/17/2025)
Hello Family and Friends,
Our key scripture is: 2 THESSALONIANS 1:3 – “We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly...”
Faith has a huge capacity to grow. Faith comes to those who hear the Word of God. You will notice that as your faith grows, you are able to do things you could not do before. Again, you are able to overcome certain sins more easily and also able to serve God with greater ease.
When we act with faith, miracles happen!
HERE ARE TWO WAYS OUR FAITH GROWS:
FAITH GROWS BY HEARING – ROMANS 10:17:
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
The more you hear the Word of God, the greater your faith grows!
FAITH GROWS WHEN YOU USE IT – LUKE 19:15D:
“…that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.”
This is a parable that Jesus used to teach us what we can gain by using what we have. He demonstrated that when you have faith, you can accomplish greater things.
PRACTICAL WAYS TO GROW YOUR FAITH:
We must make an effort to listen to both old and new messages over and over.
We should read the books that God has placed at our disposal.
We should watch Christian preaching videos.
We should cultivate the habit of listening to the Word of God at all times—when walking, exercising, at our leisure, working, etc.
Brethren, it is prudent that we grow our faith:
“FOR WITHOUT FAITH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD.”
Blessings,
Eric Boateng
