THURSDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 186 ( 09/12/2024).
Hello family and friends, our key scripture is 1 Corinthians 3:1;” And I, brethren, could not SPEAK UNTO YOU AS UNTO SPIRITUAL, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.”
We must make every effort to go out of our carnal phase and become spiritual Christians.
When we are spiritual, we are influenced by spiritual things and our spirit man is more developed. To be spiritually minded is life, but to be carnally minded Christian is dangerous and deadly-( Romans 8:6).
Some keys that will help us to be spiritual people are:
1. BY PRAYING OFTEN
Prayer will make us spiritual people. Jesus said, “ Pray lest you fall into temptation.” Prayer keeps us from falling away from God. Anyone who you spend time talking to becomes close to you. In the same way, Christians who spend time praying to God become close to Him. You go far and far away from God when you don’t spend time praying!
2. BY SEEKING GOD’S WILL:- 1 John 2:17;” And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
Beloved Christians, staying in the will of God and seeking His will are very important for our survival.
Only spiritual people seek the will of God, whilst the unspiritual are not concerned if they are in God’s will or not!
