WEEKEND’S INSPIRATION- PART 185 ( 09/08/2024).
Hello family and friends, there are many issues that make Christians move away from their beliefs or faith, including the following:
1. A CHANGE IN OUR CIRCUMSTANCES:- Acts 2:25;” For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, THAT I SHOULD NOT BE MOVED:”
Since God is always on our side, we should not be moved by changes that take place in our lives.
In Psalm 137:4, the children of Israel hung their harps and packed their instruments, because they had been taken away as captives :- “ ….How can we sing the Lord’s song in a strange Land?”
Christians who find it difficult to adapt to their new circumstances often become weaken in their walk with God. Some of these new circumstances include New Roles as wives, husbands, mothers, new jobs, New locations, being a father and so on.
None of these should shift our attention from our calling and ministry.
Let us take good note of the following key issues:
- Marriages should not shift our focus from our calling and ministry.
- Our jobs should not shift our focus from Christ.
- Traveling into a new country and our new school admissions, should not let us put aside God.
- Finally, our blessings should not draw us away from God, but rather help us establish our faith, and confidence in Him!
