THURSDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 228 ( 08/08/2024).
Hello family and friends, most people are impressed by one feature of a successful person. For instance, if a singer is successful, people may be impressed with her voice. If a woman is successful, people may be impressed with her strength of character.
People may be impressed with a boxer’s strength. A pastor may be noted for his preaching style. In all the cases above, A COMMON MISTAKE is to think that “ ONE THING” has given rise to these successes. However, that is never case. The boxer you are impressed with, may also be deligent, consistent and even prayerful. He may also have been trained by a very good coach.
Again, the pastor you are impressed with may have many hidden strengths, talents and practices that you do not know of. Since the pastor’s life is hidden from your view, you are not likely to know all the other things that are working for all the good things to happen: Ecclesiastes 9:11;” I
returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not for the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
Ecclesiastes 9:11 is a simple scripture which teaches and declares that SPEED, STRENGTH, WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING AND SKILL usually determines the outcome of everything.
