LET US RISE UP AND PRAY ( THE FIFTH DETERMINANT- SKILL 2)

SATURDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 271 ( 09/06/2025).

Hello Family and Friends,

Last weekend, we learned that skills are acquired knowledge, abilities, and expertise used to perform tasks effectively. Skills can be developed through education, training and experience, and are vital for jobs success and adopting to a changing economy.
Skills are crucial because they enhance individuals employability, career growth and personal satisfaction, while also driving business innovation and competitiveness.

SKILLS DETERMINE OUR SUDDEN ELEVATION TO PLACES OF IMPORTANCE; as was in the case of the young man David:-
1 Samuel 16:16-23;” Let our Lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out A MAN, who is A CUNNING PLAYER OF THE HARP: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well. And Saul said unto his servants, provide me now a man that can play well, bring him to me. Then answered one of his servants and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is CUNNING IN PLAYING, and a mighty valiant man, a man of war, and prudent in matters……… And Saul sent to Jesse, saying let David I pray thee, STAND BEFORE ME; for he had found favor in my sight…..”

Brethren, David was elevated as king Saul’s armor bearer, was at Saul’s palace, and played the harp when “….the evil spirit from God was upon Saul…..”
David’s elevation was because of his skill in playing the harp efficiently and effectively.
Let us therefore rise up and pray for Wisdom and Understanding, and also work hard in acquiring some skills; for these are keys to the success of our lives and ministry, and more importantly our elevation!

Blessings
