SUNDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 213 ( 02/16/2025).
Hello family and friends, our key scripture is Colossians
1:9;” For this reason also, since the day we heard it, we have not ceased to pray for you to ask THAT YOU MAY BE FILLED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WILL in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.”
Every Christian should be filled with THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD CONCERNING OUR PERSONAL AMBITIONS.
Simply put, our dreams, aspirations and our endeavors should be aligned with the will of God.
These include our education, our jobs and businesses, our relationships and marriages, and our ministries etc etc.
Jesus Christ made the following statements:
1. John 6:38;” For I came down from heaven not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.” And,
2. John 5:30;” I came of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the WILL OF THE FATHER WHO SENT ME.”
The perfect will of God for every Christian is not to pursue our ambitions without first seeking God’s will for it, as Jesus did.
Let us always remember God is the one who sees into the future, and His will helps us navigate any dangers ahead of us.
Let us always remember Proverbs 14:12 and Proverbs 16:25 which have the same message;” There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
