WEEKEND’S INSPIRATION- PART 192 ( 10/20/24)
Hello family and friends, here are three questions and answers for matured Christians:
1. WHY DO CHRISTIANS NOT COMMIT FORNICATION? The Bible teaches that we should abstain from fornication:-
1 Thessalonians 4:3;” For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that YE SHOULD ABSTAIN FROM FORNICATION.”
The Bible has a lot of other guidelines for our sexual conducts.
2. WHY DO CHRISTIANS NOT SWEAR, CURSE, INSULT OR USE VULGAR WORDS? Because the Bible says no corrupt communication should proceed out of our mouths. Christians cannot speak in the same way non-Christians speak:- Ephesians 4:29;” Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to be used in edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
3. FINALLY, WHY SHOULD CHRISTIANS SPEAK/ TELL THE TRUTH? Because the Bible says we should put away LYING, for lying is an evil thing:- Ephesians 4:25;
“ Wherefore PUTTING AWAY LYING, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.”
Beloved Christians, LYING is being overlooked in the Christian community. We should endeavor to eschew all forms of lies and deceptions as these do not please God.
