WEEKEND’S INSPIRATION- PART 190 ( 10/06/24).
Hello family and friends, our key scripture is Ephesians 6:14;” Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with TRUTH.”
A spiritual person is a truthful person. Lies are a principal characteristic of satan, for he is a liar and the father of it ( John 8:44). There are born again Christians who habitually lie through their teeth. They lie to God and man without raising an eyelid.
Many people do not like the truth, and hate the speaker of truth. Jesus was not popular in His days because He told the religious leaders and the community the truth. The belt of truth according to our key scripture, holds the whole armor together. TRUTH, HONESTY and SINCERITY are things that hold our Christian lives together.
Let us ask ourselves this mega question: Are we truthful to ourselves, to others and also to God?
We should stop deceiving ourselves by portraying that we are saints, whilst we are liars, dishonest, corrupt and pretenders! For these presentations as pious and saints do not change the way God sees us.
Jesus said, “ You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set us free.”( John 8:32). Let us therefore desire for the spirit of truth! Be inspired by this beautiful attached clip- TRUTH BE TOLD, by Matthew West
