MONDAY’S INSPIRATION - PART 118 ( 07/15/2024).
Hello family and friends, the SIXTH PRINCIPLE on the New Creation Topic is that: AFTER YOU ARE SAVED YOUR BODY IS STILL THE SAME, AND YOU MUST KEEP IT UNDER CONTROL. When you are a new creation, you do not change physically. Your body ( body parts ) are still the same.
The Apostle Paul was worried about his flesh, as he knew his flesh could disgrace him one day. So he said in 1 Corinthians 9:27;”I KEEP MY BODY UNDER ( control) and bring it under subjection lest by any means when I preach to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
The Apostle Paul with all his greatness, was worried about his flesh.
As Christians, we should be mindful of our flesh, keep it under control; or else, it will disgrace you. Have you ever seen a spirit fornicating or committing adultery before? Or have you seen a spirit fighting, gossiping, back biting, smoking or drinking before? It is the flesh that does all these things. THE FLESH HAS NO RESPECT FOR ANY ONE.
The works of the flesh are listed in Galatians 5:19-21 as follows;”…Adultery, fornication,uncleanness,
lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresis, envyings, murders,drunkenness,revellings, and such likes…..”
These works of the flesh are obvious that you and I are capable of any of these horrible deeds.
