LET US RISE UP AND PRAY ( THE BLESSINGS OF CONFESSION OF SINS-3)

THURSDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 221( 06/20/2024).
Hello family and friends, as we confess our sins, we experience a lot of things; among which are:

1. OUR HEALINGS
The healing of the blind man Bartimaeus was through the forgiveness of his sins:
Mark 10:46-48,51-52;” And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, JESUS, THOU SON OF DAVID, HAVE MERCY ON ME. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried out the more a great deal, thou son of David, have mercy on me…. And Jesus answered and said unto him, what wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto Him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.”
2. OUR JOY IS RESTORED
Psalm 51:12;” Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”
Sin makes you lose your joy, your cheerfulness and your happiness. You may think that people are excited when they sin. That is not so! Deep down within their hearts, there is no inner peace and joy.
Thus, it is very important that we confess our sins to God. And also turn away from our wicked ways.
God will then restore unto us the joy of our salvation!
