MONDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 113 ( MAY 27,2024).
Hello family and friends, last week we learnt that the new creation is a brand new thing that never existed before. God has put in us brand new hearts and souls.
There are seven great principles about the new creation. All these principles will be looked at today and six subsequent Mondays.
The first principle is that:
MAN IS A SPIRIT, HAS A SOUL AND LIVES IN A BODY. When The Apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, he wrote that God should affect them in all three areas-Spirit,Soul and Body; 1 Thessalonians 5:23;” And the very God of Peace sanctify you wholly;
I pray God your whole Spirit and Soul and Body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
When people speak in a very arrogant way, it is because they are not aware of how real eternal things are.
In Luke Chapter 16, there is this story of the Rich Man and Lazarus. In Luke 16:23, the Bible teaches us that Lazarus died, and was carried into the bosom of Father Abraham. The rich man also died, and because he never believed in the things of God, he was received in hell. Whilst
in hell, he was being tormented with fire. The Lazarus that was in Abraham’s bosom was not the real Lazarus, but rather the spirit and soul of him. Similarly, it was the soul and the spirit of the rich man that was experiencing the hell fire!
To all those who don’t believe that there is heaven and hell, What about if you die and you realize it is true? You would have reached a point of No Return. MANY PEOPLE WILL ONE FATEFUL DAY WAKE UP AND REALIZE THAT THOUGH THEY WERE IN CHURCH ALL THE TIME, BUT WERE NEVER CHRISTIANS!
