MONDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 219 ( 04/07/2025).
Hello family and friends, here are the final two reasons why we must be led by the Holy Spirit:
1. SO THAT WE DO NOT ANGER HIM:- Hebrews 10:29;” Think how much more terrible the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the son of God and have treated the blood of the covenant as if it were common and unholy. SUCH PEOPLE HAVE INSULTED THE HOLY SPIRIT who brings God’s mercy to His people.”
After grieving and quenching the Holy Spirit, we can enter into a dangerous dimension by insulting and angering Him.
Taking the Holy Spirit for granted by our actions or inactions can be considered insulting. Again, years of being ignored, quenched and being set aside can amount to deep insult to the Spirit of Grace.
2. SO WE AVOID GETTING INTO BIG TROUBLES:-1 Corinthians 9:16;” For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: For necessity is laid upon me; yea, WOE IS UNTO ME, IF I PREACH NOT THE GOSPEL” Paul was someone who felt he would get into all sorts of troubles if he did not preach the gospel. He was not wrong! Woe is all of us who are called to preach but spend our time doing all kinds of wrong things that are not even in the will of God; living unrighteously and not preaching the unadulterated word of God.
May God have mercy on all of us so that our intentions, actions and inactions do not anger the Holy Spirit!
