SUNDAY’S INSPIRATION- PART 211 -( 02/02/2025).
Hello family and friends, many people find themselves in the imperfect will of God, because the perfect will of God is mysteriously close and parallel to the imperfect will of God. The two have such similarities that you would think they are one and the same. One such example is the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:39-42;“ And she had a sister called Mary, which also SAT AT JESUS’ FEET, AND HEARD HIS WORD. But Martha was CUMBERED ABOUT SERVING, and came to Him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? Bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things. But ONE THING IS NEEDFUL: AND MARY HATH CHOSEN THAT GOOD PART, which shall not be taken away from her.
In this story, Mary chose the perfect will of God whilst the sister Martha chose the imperfect will of God. Both Mary and Martha loved Jesus and had Him to their home. But Mary WAS DIFFERENT because she chose the WORD and Martha chose the FOOD.
Serving Jesus who was a guest to their home was great, but listening to the word from Jesus was excellent and needful!
Here we see Jesus placing priority of food for the soul over food for the body. He once told satan that; “ MAN MUST NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE….” Be blessed with this beautiful attached clip-
THERE WAS JESUS 🎶🎹
