WEEKEND’S INSPIRATION- PART 208 ( 01/19/2025).
Hello family and friends, our key scripture is Ephesians 5:17;” So then do not be FOOLISH, but UNDERSTAND what the will of the Lord is..”
Here are two ways on how people enter into the imperfect will of God:
1. When We Want To Be Like Others:1 Samuel 8:4-5
“ Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel at Ramah, and said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in the thy ways; now make us a king to judge us LIKE ALL THE NATIONS.”
Wanting to be like others is the most dangerous desire a man can have. This desire will eventually lead us to reject God’s will and His plan for our lives. Jesus said, “ I receive not honor from men.”- John 5:41
Experiences have shown that people wanting to be like others always end up in unwanted, weird, inexplicable situations and consequences!
Let us therefore WISE UP!
2. People Enter Into The Imperfect Will Of God Because Of Human Manipulations:Genesis 16:2;
“ And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee GO INTO MY MAID; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abraham hearkened to the voice of sarai.”
Trusting God ABSOLUTELY is not an easy thing. We are often tempted to do something to change things. We should always remember that there are no short cuts in life! We must always trust God absolutely, and BELIEVE that all things will work together for our Good- (Romans 8:28).
Beloved Christians, God can do all things. The ONE THING God Cannot do IS TO LIE! Let us therefore have absolute trust in Him!
